Moon Phases Calendar 2017

New year is coming closer so I started to design some new calendars. This one is a variation of my favorite moon phases embroidery design. The 2017 calendar as a tea towel is printed at Spoonflower and sewed at home. I made a Czech version for me, but there are English and German versions on Spoonflower available.

You can also get the calendar as an art print at Society6 both English and German.

Yellow Dragon

What a little creature is drinking nectar in the meadow?

It is a soft toy yellow dragon. And you can sew your own! Here on Spoonflower you can find the Yellow Dragon Plushie Pattern. Have fun!

Three Headed Dragon Gym Sack for Boys

My son begins with kindergarten soon. He wished a black gym bag with a scary three headed dragon. I made a simple sack for him using a drawing of a dragon spitting fire. The pattern of a Three Headed Dragon Gym Sack is now also available on Spoonflower for you.

Moon Phases Gym Bag

This classic sacks is as simple as possible. Easy to sew, light to wear. The pattern Moon Phases Gym Bag is available on Spoonflower.

Two scales of the moon phases design are used on the sack - smaller size of the design on one side, bigger size on another.

Now I just have to fill it and go to the gym.

Indigo Fabric Collection

My favorite flower this spring is Carthusian Pink (Dianthus carthusianorum). Although I love the color, I used simple white hand drawn shapes of the flower on a blue background for most of the new patterns. And I completed it with hand drawn dots and circles. The whole Indigo collection contains patterns on three shades of indigo blue and on natural grey and is available on Spoonflower.

Moon Phases

The Moon Phases Spoonflower contest from November 2015 was the kick to make this design called Moon Phases Embroidery.

And it got lucky, the design was voted in the top 10. Thank you Spoonflower for the photos.

It looks like embroidery but is actually based on a very simple drawing. The plan is to make the real sashiko embroidery version of the design soon.

I am excited every time I see a fabric or a product using my design. It is an adventure to find out such projects. One of the findings is The Portside Dopp Kit from Grainline Studio designed for Sproutpatterns.

Butterflies

The "Spring Morning" collection of printed fabrics is full of butterflies! All these fabrics and solid color coordinates are available on Spoonflower.

I painted a few blue watercolor butterflies at first, then selected soft colors for the color palette.

"Butterfly Pink" is the best selling design from this collection - if I may call it design - it is just of one color, following by this design "Butterflies for Sophy".

This is how a pillow with butterfly pattern looks like on Society6.
